From what I understand Prime is widely used and recommended for fish. And yes, it is just 2 drops per gallon. I have been told that some dechlorinators aren't safe for frogs, but don't remember where I read that. I know that Prime is considered safe, and I use it myself, although I tend to add 3 - 4 drops per gallon just to be on the safe side.

IMO Prime is some of the best stuff out there. I use it for my fish and all my reptiles.

Plus, if you screw up and put too much in the water, it can get up to about 5 times the recommended amount before it actually starts causing problems for the animals. Not that that's likely to happen, but it's nice to know that if I accidentally put one too many drops in a gallon, I won't poison my pets.

Funny I have heard the same thing that dechlorinators are not good for amphibians, although without proofs, so that's the end of it.

I just followed the instructions of 2 drops for 4 liters!! Seems SO wrong. Going to take me a while to wrap my head around this. Doesnt even seem possible that its doing anything lol
Haha, I think that's why many people recommend Prime---you get more bang for your bucks. The instruction seemed too good to be true, lol! But you're safe to follow it.
