Tim, that's exactly what I had to do.
And it's not too whacked. They seem to drop their legs like some lizards drop their tails.
Better than having to stun mice...

lol how do you stun mice cause i have neva herd of that before?
The least horrific way is putting it in a paper bag and hitting it against something pretty hard...
Other ways I've seen/heard of people doing it is holding the mouse by the tail and hitting it against something, or putting a nail in its head.
I'm so happy I was able to get my snake to take f/t.
PS I'm wanting a couple of Tomato frogs. Do you think that the temporary setup I've got for my baby pixie would be adequate for a couple?
Thanks Grabius,
I just measured the dimensions of the the pot, and the diameter is 24 inches, and the height is 17.
These are the pots built for trees, so it runs straight up and down instead of tapering.
you mean to house them temporarily? of for a permanent home? and my preferred method of stunning mice? i just talk to them....seems to work on my wife. LOL

Bill,
I'm talking about using as a permanent home. I think the dark sides would provide a feeling of security. And I'm sure you've read how I plan to keep them warm and provide a day/night cycle.
hahaha had to laugh at your post Bill, I think it's a great idea i have seen people make a terrarium out of an old T.V which was an awesome idea but yea as long as they're temps and humidity is up the sky is the limit.
