Hahahad to wait up for my ol' man to get ready, then we got lost, and then we stopped for ice cream on the way home.
So HERE are the pictures! Isn't s/he pretty?
Not scared of me at all, either.
That little critter keeper is what s/he came home in, and I'm still waiting for substrate divider to come in for the 40 gal tank, so for now, I'm keeping him/her in a 20 gallon nursery pot set up as a temporary home. Right now he/shes about the size of an American quarter. I had one on the white backdrop for reference, but the frog didn't seem to want to pose next to it, so I just had to try n shoot while it was moving around.

Also, is it normal for these guys to reject food with calcium/d3 powder on it?
I've been popping him/her crickets since the drive home, and when we got here and I gave him a couple more. The last one I coated with cal/d3 and when s/he got a lick of it, s/he spat out the cricket and rubbed the powder off his/her tongue with its little feet.

You're asking questions i can't answer. Lol sorry, i know very little about pyxies. You should ask locasia or one of the other guys who are much more knowledgeable

Have you ever had a pixie spit out a cricket because of the calcium powder it was coated with?
