    Green C. Cranwelli. If it's a male he'll get 2 1/2" to 3 1/2" inches.. females are usually around 4", sometimes a little bigger.

But I'm pretty bad with eyeballing size. And not familiar with American coins. Is that a nickel or quarter? Also I think 2.5 inches full grown would be considered quite a but below average. But I could be wrong. Never owned a cranwell

Male Cranwelli usually top out at 3" to 3.5" so there is still room to grow. Occasionally they do get larger. I have a male Cranwelli who is 1/8" from 4" so your guy still has some room, but it could be a female that is a late bloomer which does happen sometimes. If female then she could have an explosive growth spurt in a few days and grow up to 1" to 2" in a week or less depending on how much food and nutrition the frog is given.

I'm not sure how you can tell the sex, but I have heard it croak a few times.

Male it is then. Even so it still has room to grow and some do grow slower than others. my big male grew slow and steady all the way except for my male Joazeirensis(Caatinga) who hit 3" in less than 3 months. He is now 3.5" and still growing. They continue to grow their entire lives just at a much slower rate when they reach adulthood. I feel males and females both make equally enjoyable pets because they both have differences and similarities that make them both nice to keep. Personally I love to hear my males call and also love the attitudes my females have. My females are big babies though except for Pariah my largest. She wants to do what she wants and that's final Lol!

Most people get these frogs hoping for a massive eating machine, but there is more to them than that and is not the whole reason anyone should get one of these frogs. That is something to keep in mind. I hope that your male brings you much joy and satisfaction and that overtime he calls it puts a smile on your face rather than an annoyed disappointed expression.
