Mysterious Side Lump on Green Pacman

What does it look like when they poop like right before

A couple of mine actually have almost a right angle lump, just before they poop. But that can mean they are impacted if you see that more than for several minutes. Some kind of look lopsided.

For me Ive found the greatest success with water over 85. Water will always adjust to the temperature outside over time. A small puddle like they would encounter in the wild (They could drown in a large puddle) will be moving in temperature almost exactly equal to the change in temperature outside. Over 90 degree days are very common in the tropics and I think it is probably a way frogs will naturally regulate their bowels in nature. By hopping into a nice warm puddle.

I use a decent sized container they are unlikely to jump out of but least 2 - 3 times their length/width, with lukewarm water, then put the container in the sink with water a bit warmer, thus keeping it warm for longer. When the sink water cools, I warm it up again with warm water, for a total of about 20 - 30 minutes.

Most pacs get impacted at some point in their life. It's easy to treat, but if you keep one for very long you're going to have to learn to do it.

Was there something else wrong with it, or just the lump?

No it was terribly sick it suddenly began to like froth at the mouth it's eyes clouded and boom it just died but I would've gladly stayed with Jaba but life happened I'am definetly in this for the long run I've had a lot of unfair weather but most have survived. I ain't one to quit easy

Thats very sad. Id focus hard on trying to pinpoint the cause of death so it doesnt happen to your new Pacman.

Did you already post the 'trouble in the enclosure' information? It's a sticky that's at the top of the pac forum. If you post that and everything you did, someone can probably help figure out exactly what happened. If you got it from a petstore, it's entirely possible that it was already seriously ill when you got it.

Sorry to hear that your other frog didn't make it, Jaba. Hopefully this next one does good for you. It's always kind of a risk buying pets from a place like petsmart, but atleast they refund/replace the animal if you have trouble. Good luck with your new guy, glad to hear he's already stalking his food.

Even though it's kind of depressing to sign a piece of paper that says you can bring your pet's corpse back with the receipt and get a new one for two weeks
