    Default Shipping Retf in fall/winter?

Just a quick question, curious if anybody has personal experience. My retf enclosure is ready for the juvi's but my daughter is using it for two more weeks for her science fair experiment--she "moved in" to it 2 wks ago. lol). Can the frogs be shipped from the north where it is cold now to S. Fl where we are still warm and will be for a couple months ? I would hate to wait till spring and all exotic shops in S. Fl have only wild caught retfs (which i will not buy).

Most places who ship animals like this in the fall/winter use heat packs to keep them warm on their trips. I'm sure you'll be able to order them year around and you should get a live arrival guarantee in case something were to happen.

Thanks, i was hoping with the right supplier it was standard practice, but i wasnt sure and was "afraid" to call them and ask if they had some cutoff date----i've waited long enough, would have burst by spring lol.

You know you could always check out your local reptile shows as well, I'm willing to bet you'd find some there. There are some good reptile stores down there in florida too, such as Ben Siegel and Underground Reptiles. Maybe check with them, they might have what you're looking for and you could pick it up in person.

Here's a link to some for sale on kingsnake.. there are some towards the top of the page that are in florida. Kingsnake.com Classifieds > Tree Frog Classifieds I'd just try and get CB (Captive bred).
