Grumpy
My adult Ceratophrys cornuta girl, Grumpy, a wild caught animal imported from Surinam.
She got this name not because her temper is grumpy, in fact, she's very shy and nice to me. I gave her that name because she simply looks "grumpy." On the other hand, I think all Cornuta look grumpy.
She's about 4 inch SVL. A quarter shown for size reference.
About a couple of pictures in, I smell something funny. Guess what? It's my ice-cream maker making rocky road.
Ah, her majesty needed to do what she had to do. So about 5 minutes later, the photo shoot continued.
In a cardboard box this time because I had to clean her "toilet."
I don't see no nuptial pad.
She's so cute! But I wonder if she's gravid so I flipped her belly up. I couldn't see any eggs.
