Default how often should adf surface for air?

I'm a bit concerned because I've not seen my frog surface once in 6 hrs.
He spends most his time hiding in the ornament

Well, I doubt you've stared at your aquarium for 6 hours straight.

Honestly though go check on him, I am pretty sure after 6 hours he surfaced and you didn't see him do it.

I think how often they go for air is relative to how active they are. Like when my ACF are swimming around a lot, they breathe more, when they're being lazy, they don't need to get air very often.

Side note: Do check and make sure he's not trapped.. they can easily get trapped under ornaments and drown.

Still not seen him surface. He seems ok though. He is very inactive and spends most of the time hiding.
He seems to come out at night when all the lights are off, but even then just walks around the bottom.
he only has one back foot (the other looks deformed and withered) so it must be hard for him.
Going to try and get him a couple of friends at the weekend. Im hoping that might help him.
Hes in a tank with 5 platys but they ignore him

Your frog is probably sleeping. They are known to sleep underwater for 6 to 12 hours. As long as your frog is swimming and eating well, there shouldn't be any concern. These frogs are not known to be very active.

I have seen him surface once since. He must be doing it whilst im not looking. I was amazed how quickly he swam to the top with one foot!
