I seem to have spoiled my pyxie, while i hear of others pyxies attacking anything and everything, my pyxie wont try and eat anything and everything that comes into contact with his eyesight. he eats well, and eats as he pleases, but he only cares about thing that are moving rapidly in front of him, he will take a roach when it is crawling around, however that same roach he will refuse from the tongs, after speaking with member cyrus69 i believe we have figured out the reason for this. i dump a bunch of crickets in his cage every morning and because of this, there is always food around for him, which in turn is causing him not to care about food, i can throw a worm in his cage and he just doesnt care, same with superworms, nightcrawlers ect. he only really goes after the roaches and crickets, now as these are somewhat expensive food choices to use as a primary staple, im wondering if i were to remove all the crickets out of his cage, stop feeding for 2-4 days and then start a feeding regimen of every other to every 2 days. do you think this would cause him to be a more aggressive feeder? he is definitely healthy, just picky.
