No offense, but you're seriously going to sell your animals based on some griping on an online forum rather than just changing something about your care? Yes, people on forums can be terse, catty, and rude at times (not talking about this one in particular, guys; I'm on like five different forums for my little menagerie). But they are generally experienced keepers, and even if you feel insulted, the information you get is usually going to help the animal.
The overwhelming majority of people have no idea how to care for reptiles and amphibians. If you care for these animals at all, make sure whoever you are giving/selling them to is either an experienced keeper, or let them know where to look online for good information.
selling ur pets seems a little rash dude
Is it just me or is this a little crazy/
yah well Cams proffesional so im saying goodbye to my pets![]()
Where did Cam or anyone else say he was a professional? I don't think that happened. He does know his stuff though when it comes to certain animals. The salamanders for example. He may have been a little harsh but it's because he cares about your animals. You should learn from the experience and better your care with it. If you're so sad about selling your animals, don't do it. Learn from it and you and your pets will both be happier. You shouldn't get so bummed out about what people say on the internet, you should take it as a challenge and prove to yourself and him that you can take care of the animals.
Atleast you're here on the forum trying to further your knowledge in their care, most people don't even do that.
this is crazy! and reading the thread mentioned I agree with Cam - if one is not mature enough to properly take care of animals or accept help/advise and continue experimenting, may be he/she shouldn't have them. we all here love amphibians and care for them, so a lot of time we take it personally, especially when it comes to health and well being, so yeah it may be a little harsh, but everyone is loosing it once in a while especially if you need to prove that white is actually white.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
