    Default Hello from New Zealand

    Hi guys,

Thought I would join up to learn some more about keeping frogs, and see if I can find some cool terrarium tips (hoping to make one over the summer break).
I don't have any frogs at the moment, but used to keep them as a kid, and would really like to build a nice terrarium and get some more. I have 3 pets at the moment...

Elliot, an 8 year old DSH cat.

And of course the gorgeous Elsie my 1 year old Border Collie x Jack Russell.
We do competitive obedience, rally-obedience, agility, tracking & working trials (she is a very busy pup!)

    Hi welcome to the forum.
Which frogs are you going to get? Small choice... it's either Brown Tree Frogs (Whistling Tree Frogs), Green and Golden Bell Frogs or Southern Bell Frogs, only ones we can keep unfortunately.

Yeah it's unfortunate we can't have any of the pretty dart frogs huh! We'll see what size tank I end up getting, will probably get green & golden bells though

Weather is pretty erratic right now... Gale force winds and heavy rain on Saturday, got sun burn on Sunday
And yes his full name is William Murderface Murderface Murderface (murder for short, or when he is being naughty!). Are you going to go see them? We don't get many big bands down this way, sometimes they go to Australia and skip us completely

lol skip new zealand completely? thats just racist! (joke). No the whole death metal scene isnt my cup of tea id stick out like sore thumb, the heaviest metal i really listen to is Black Sabbath + Metallica and thats barely metal compared to the more hardcore current stuff. But i do like the show regardless

Dethklok was supposed to be touring with Gojira and Lamb of God.. I would have loved to go to that concert because Gojira and Dethklok are some of my favorite bands, unfortunately the lead singer of Lamb of God got arrested and the tour got cancelled..

I would too, I'm more into gabber/hardcore (electronic) now, but still have a big soft spot for death metal

I'm more a fan of Krewella, Vexare etc, there's nothing better than the dubstep drop IMO.

Dubstep has a bad name to most people because of the type of people who listen to all the mainstream rubbish. However if you search for the less popular songs that's when you find the really good dubstep.

After 7 years of raving across NZ and AUS I think I have heard more than my fair share of dubstep... commercial, underground, heavy as faaark... It's still not hardcore xP
