    No, not at all. They just look way too much like a Ranid and not a Hylid. According to their taxonomic name, Litoria raniformis (Keferstein, 1867) ,it would appear someone else, Wilhelm Moritz Keferstein, thought so too.

    He He I was joking. Allot of pic Ive seen of Ranids are not as lean as Hylids. I do see what you mean.

    Kurt, I looked up Wilhelm Moritz Keferstein on the net as i was interested in what he had to say in reference to this, but I could not find it. I imagine it was in German anyway. Have you read his book?

    No, I have not. To tell the truth I had never heard of him before I looked up Litoria raniformis and who described it.
