    Default Mouth/Lower Lip

Hey everyone, hope you guys can help me out. Here's my baby cornuta and it appears that his lower jaw is sticking out very slightly (you can see a contrast between his chin and his "lower lip", which is lighter color). Is this normal? He's eating fine and doing everything else fine, and this is a fairly new development. Because I've never raised one from so tiny (I've had him a few months now) I just wanted some imput.

    Thanks!

Thought some contrast pictures would be useful. The first is from about 2 weeks ago, and the next is from about two months ago.

I know a few of you got baby cornutas right around the same time I did. How big are yours now? About the same as mine? Bigger?

Are you supplementing calcium? Jaws not lining up can be a symptom of MBD.

I do supplement calcium, but I'm feeding every other day now. Perhaps I need to go back to feeding every day, with the calcium every other?

i would use a calcium and D3 supplement with every feeding for this little guy. The first pic...how dry is the substrate? It should be moist.

It is moist--the substrate was getting dry when I pulled him out to take a picture and I misted it right after. And every feeding? Hrm...I'll have to try that!
