Hi, I'm a new to this but, I recently adopted an american green tree frog that I saved from my cat. I've had him for about a week now and it seems like he is finally making himself at home since I noticed one of the two crickets is finally gone. However, I purchased about 12 crickets a week ago and now they've grown a bit. I was wondering how big they can get to still use.
This is a picture of Slippy I think he is an adult. He's probably a little over an inch.
Hi, cute frog you've got there! A general rule of thumb for cricket sizing is that the cricket should not be larger than the space between your frog's eyes. Hope this helps...
