Transferring from dirty bin to clean bin.
There is a photo of the bins I use in the above post.
I keep 2 additional bins clean at all times and transfer slowly.
I use the egg carton and the paper roll to shift them from the dirty bin to the clean bin.
They can NOT crawl or climb out of a bin this tall !
They will escape from cardboard containers very, very easily !


Transferring from the cricket bin to the frog enclosure.
I use real cheap plastic bags (gallon size) they are re-usable.
I capture them into the bag - where they are dusted- then carry them to them frog enclosure.

They are opportunistic little buggers!!!!!

As for the "dead" ones. Look very closely. You may be looking at shed crickets skins.
If you are using larger crickets, they will grab/hop on to a shirt cuff and hitch a ride at the drop of a dime. And then off the go !
