Hey

I have owned fire belly toads for almost a year now, and have always fed them live crickets. I decided to buy my crickets a new container as they all kept dying, after a week, in the boxes they were sold in.

In this new container the last batch have lasted almost a month. However, when cleaning out the dead ones a few must have escaped!! Or maybe they were just playing dead?

My flat mates and I have found around 10 crickets throughout my house, mostly on our floor, but 2 were found today, 2 week after they escaped, 4 stories below my room. Surely this many can not have escaped! Are they breeding? and how long will they survive? everyone is getting super annoyed.

They are completely silent, so I can't hunt them down either.
