Hi guys,
I know im a few months early but I want to know ahead of time so I can plan somthing else if it isnt going to happen. I have a small koi pond in my backyard with 3-4 frogs in it and I think they are going to become able to mate this year. My Koi pond is about 18 inches deep is that to deep for them to lay eggs? Also my pond has been frozen on the surface but I read that if their isnt an open area then no oxygen will be transfered into the water and they will sufficate in their sleep? Is this true? I havent really broken the ice because im afraid i might damage them in some way. So Today in Massachusetts belive it or not it was 55 degrees and the temperature is still increasing as we speak. The ice has mostly melted off and theres open water is it to late for them? Its been more than a few days when the surface has been frozen. Thanks,
Ella
