Finally got my Phantom Female!

Wow, that phantom is a beast. Congrats Mike! Must be quite exciting to have it. I wouldn't stop staring at it.. it's like a giant Gray tree frog. The peppermint is nice too, for some reason I was expecting it to be blue. I must have got them confused with Sam. Blues.

Very interesting/ cool looking. I don't understand what sets it apart from a mutant, could someone explain the differences to me?

A phantom is a mutant. Its a type of mutant that changes to a certain color.

Peppermint are a sam blue x pastel cranwelli

They are a very light green color as adults

How many do you have now?

One adult female phantom. One lime green albino mutant, one samurai blue mutant, 3 pink variety mutants. I should be getting another mutant next week.

How many of the mutants are from your own clutches? Is there always a chance of getting mutants when breeding any two frogs together?

Two of the 6 are. You have to breed two blues together that carry the mutant gene. That doesn't mean that you will be guarenteed mutants however. Breeding a mutant x blue or mutant x mutant will give you a better chance of producing a mutant.

Where did you get the phantom from? Samurai? I saw one on Fauna months ago.
