Take him the vet. There are a number of things that can cause this, so it would be best to have a vet diagnose the problem.
i agree with kurt
In Serbia, vet's treat only cats and dogs. So if I take the frog to them, they will cause more problem. Today I will separe that frog from the others, and try to feed it. Is it a good idea to spary the frog with solvate of chalcium and D vitameni?
I have made up a slurry with calcium/vitamin D and used on frogs that had metabolic bone disease.
How often can I spray them? Every day, a week? I forgoted to tell you that i have some skin infection. I will take some photos tonight.

So sorry for the loss of your RETF. Unfortunately it's part of keeping any animal but it is sad for us humans. Be sure and disinfect everything the little frog touched and all the best for the rest of your collection.

Im so sorry for your loss. I strongly recommend what Tropicok said as what your Frog had could have been contagous and may pass on to the rest of your frogs. Sterilize/disinfect and good luck![]()
Did you just get him? I had the same problem. I had a tree frog for only 4 days and its skin looked very similar to yours. I found him dead yesterday.. I wanted to take him to the vet but he died. I did everything I could for him but I think he just didn't adjust well to the new habitat. When I brought him back to the pet store they said sometimes if they stay in the store for a long period of time they get sick. I am really sorry for your lose. I couldn't get him to eat either.
It's not such a big problem, I have 4 other red eyed leaf frogsI ask that because I watched something on Animal Planet, vet took a pipe in dart frog's mouth to feed it :S Is it a good idea? Oh, he feeded the frog with baby food :S
Forced or tube feeding is never really a good idea. It should only be done under a veterinarians instructions.
Here are some news:
One more frog is dead ( now i have 3 red eye tree frogs)
The frog get some red spots, and the vet took the swab to labolatori to testi it on fungs.
We feeded it with baby food 2 or 3 times.
Vet sprayed the frog with some antibiotick, so the frog is now better, but stil ill...
Good luck with your continued progress. Hopefully, you beat this ailment.
I had the same problem with my frog and unfortunately I couldn't get to a vet before he died. It is possible that it was passed to all other frogs in your tank. I would separate them all and see how it goes. If they are contaminated at least it will spare those who weren't. I don't know what causes it but it's a horrible thing to witness. I think without a vet there isn't much you can do. Sorry man and good luck!!
Just remember to disinfect the tank and everything the frog touched like mentioned earlier. Or else it will just spread to the rest and they'll get sick. Good luck and I am sorry about your loss.
