Dust food items with calcium & vitamin supplements, then feed just before you shut the lights out. If you feed earlier, the crickets will have time to rid themselves of the supplements.

You will get varied advice on that, and no one can give you a guaranteed number. For Tree Frogs, I would recommend dusting with vitamins/minerals at least once a week, and also once a week with calcium+vitamin D3 powder. Kurt dusts more often but I have never found it necessary to do so for frogs other than dart frogs.

I just like to be more thorough and avoid hypocalcemia. It doesn't hurt the frog and besides I want to use up the supplements before they expire.

It's rare, but it is possible to provide too much of a mineral for example.

I had the same problem with my frog and unfortunately I couldn't get to a vet before he died. It is possible that it was passed to all other frogs in your tank. I would separate them all and see how it goes. If they are contaminated at least it will spare those who weren't. I don't know what causes it but it's a horrible thing to witness. I think without a vet there isn't much you can do. Sorry man and good luck!!

Just remember to disinfect the tank and everything the frog touched like mentioned earlier. Or else it will just spread to the rest and they'll get sick. Good luck and I am sorry about your loss.
