UTH question

I probably already know the answer to this, but I'll ask anyway. Can I use a small zoomed (10-20 gal size) uth on a plastic critter keeper? I keep my uth on a rheo(dimmer) so I could turn it down. I have some from my geckos and I want to make sure, before I have to go buy another one.
