Need help~~~ emergency~~~

I'm a beginner in Pacman frog.... I just bought my Pacman frog about a month ago.... It has been feeding well for the past 2 weeks on mealworms. When I bought it back home, it was about 2-3 months old as the pet shop mentioned. I have been feeding 2 mealworms for 2 days straight and the 3rd day will stop for a day. For the past 4 days, it has not been eating at all. Each time I tried to feed it with mealworms, it dodges even if I place it right in front of its mouth. It has been in stress for the past few days. Its always bloated or expands its body bigger. I noticed that there is slim on the body. Could it be shedding skin???? I've totally no idea. Anyone can please tell me how to make my froggie get back its appetite? I just worried if it would die of hunger if this continue.....

The first problem is that mealworms should not be fed to a pacman. They are hard for them to digest. Nightcrawlers should be fed instead. Your frog is most likely impacted if all you have fed it is mealworms

Welcome to the forum!

Pacs cannot digest the chitin in the mealworms exoskeleton. Feeding mealworms as a staple diet will almost always cause impaction (severe constipation). Gently feel the frog's right side. If there is a hard lump, then the frog is probably impacted. Soak the frog for 15-20 minutes in lukewarm De-Chlorinated water with 2-3 drops of honey (acts as a natural laxative).

Constant bloating can be caused by a number of things. Are you De-Chlorinating the frog's water?

Thanks guys, really really great to hear from u guys. Appreciate your advise. So now I have to prepare warm water n a few drops of honey? And how do I check if there's a lump on the right? My pipe water has been filtered by a big carbon filter outside my house and another filtering machine inside the house.... I'm not very sure if its fully de-chlorinated.... but before this I have been using the same water source but has no problem with it..... I followed at the pet shop mentioned to feed mealworms...... How do I de-chlorinate the water??? It's been 4 days.... Will my Pacman frog have any chances of survival???

I tried using honey but nothing is coming out. I try to feel if there's a lump on the right gently but don't get it. Maybe I did not do the right thing. It's still bloated. Is he continue bloating because he's so stress??? I'm kinda worried of my little froggie friend here. Hope he's gonna be ok. Can I feed him with crickets???

It doesn't always work the first time. You didn't answer if you de-chlorinate your frog's water or not. If you are using tap water it must be treated with a de-chlorinating agent or water conditioner before using it for your frog. This means all water including what is used to moisten and expand the frog's substrate.

EDIT; Sorry I didn't see where you asked how to de-chlorinate the tap water. Filters do not work for removing all chlorine and chlorimines. You'll have to buy a conditioner like Prime or ReptiSafe. My bad.

Grif he did ask how to dechlorinate water the post above the one you quoted.

The Reptile store should have Aquatize by Exo terra... I think that's the name... or Repti Safe by zoo med. You add that to your tap water. Or use Natural Spring bottled water... make sure it is natural spring water.... not all bottled waters are safe.
