It's so crazy he got out. I have two Whisper 40i on the back of my tank.. so all there is back there is the clip that holds the filter on and the power cable.. it really is a fraction of an inch from where the plastic back end of the glass top rests on top of it. I really figured they couldn't fit through that but he some how managed.. I honestly was freaking out I shut my filters off and made sure he wasn't inside them since before I even considered he got out.

I put him back in the tank last night and he's acting normal so I guess I will skip the isolation part. He's not shedding or anything. The second I put him in the aquarium he was off chasing down a ghost shrimp and acting himself I don't think he got out very long.. maybe 3-4 hours at the most. I looked him over pretty good doesn't appear he broke anything on his fall, that's the part I was most worried about because it had to be quite a drop... these are tough frogs lol.

I taped up the back of my aquarium in the mean time.. I have an Eheim 2217 Canister filter coming today.. I guess I will have to find a way to set it up and leave no way for another escape.

It's kind of funny because I had put some feeder mollies in their aquarium the other day because I was breaking down one of my bigger tanks I bred them in to sell it. The other night I took them out and placed them in another tank I set up yesterday. Maybe he went looking for all those delicious fish???
