I would be interested in knowing the implications I this diet long term as well. I was planning on making this staple in all I my frog's diets (along with dubias and nightcrawlers). All of my frogs seem to go nuts over this stuff. I literally roll the ball in front of them and they just attack it. Also, it is almost all solid food, with insects you have to account for water content, which in nightcrawlers is almost 80%. So with this it is 100% food, where as nightcrawlers are around 20% food. However, the question remains are the ingredients in this food healthy and ok for long term use. The plant material I can kind I understand, most insects are gut loaded with plan material in the wild, so every insect most likely ha a pocket of plant material in their gut anyway.

) pacman food every second feeding, it is the only frog who is eating from tongs so i don't have anything to compare with and I'm not sure if that is because of food or the fact that this little hungry monster is eating like there's no tomorrow, but he/she was 1' 1.5 month ago, now it is sitting at 3' with appetite growing as fast as its size.
