Can i keep fire bellied toads with guppy fish
No you can't because the fire bellies will eat or at least try to eat them. Also the frog waste (poop) is hazardous to the fish.
Well, I wouldn't say you couldn't keep guppies with FBTs. You can, but the FBTs will more then likely eat them.
I dunno. I put 10 in with mine and they wouldn't eat them. A few days later 9 fish were dead so I scooped them out. One of them is still alive though... a month later... mutation maybe? Natural selection and all that...
reamember fbt put off a toxin ever were they touch this includes the water thats more than likly what they died from
Are there any fish you can keep with fire bellied toads
not if you want them to live long sould never mix fbt with any thing else sorry its sad but true
i have 2 FBTs + i have always wanted to add aquatic species to the tank. Kira is right iv looked into it too + i havent come up with any other species that are compatable wit those little guys. Oddly enough tho, at the petsmart i bought them from there are several red crabs in the tank that live side-by-side on the land and in the water with the FBTs. Theyr about the same size as the toads so im surprised they dont attack eachother or at least mistake them as a good partner in a frog-pile but they seem to give eachother their space. Thats the only time ive seen or heard of other animals in the same tank with them but crabs arent exactly wat i had in mind when i was looking for aquatic species to mix them with.
I've had a koi fish mixed with my toad for like 3 months now..
