Please tell me
I put a couple of feeder goldfish in with my FBTs but I think the poison from the toads killed them. So I would say no. I am not an expert though so I will wait for someone else to post.![]()
I have 2 small mollys in with mine currently they just went in to confirm to me the water was fine after all the curing and stuff I had to do with my background the FBT's haven't bothered them yet but its only been 2 days so far the fish aren't meant to be in there forever so I will move them to another tank soon just to be safe I really wanted to have some Cherry Shrimp in my water section they could hide well in the plants but I'd rather not be buying shrimp at £1 a pop or more just to be eaten they are hard shelled as well I'm guessing it wouldn't agree with the FBT's
Probably not a good idea, since FBTs secrete a toxic substance. They will do well in a 20 gallon tank in colonies of 4-6 individuals.

Fish can be kept with FBTs, but it's not a good idea. More then likely the FBTs will try to eat the fish.
I have 1 Emerald catfish and 2 Otocinclus as well as 2 golden mystery snails in the bottom portion of my tank to help keep algae down. The snails have been in there for over a month now and they are still growing nicely, the otocinclus have been in there for about a month and the emerald about 2 or 3 weeks. If you have them in a large enough tank with filtration system, I also have a small air pump as well, it could work. You want to make sure you keep up with the cleaning. I skim the tank every couple of days of floating things, clean/rinse the filters once a week and once a month I replace the filters and do a good thorough cleaning job. You have to remember that Firebellies excrete toxins, they aren't like poisonous dart frogs that get there poisons from outside sources. If the water isn't changed and cleaned regularly they can even make themselves sick from their own toxins.
