    Default Hibernation

I'm not familiar with the hibernation process that a frog goes thru. Just had a question as to why my pacman has had his eyes closed all day. Is it that he is hibernating or there another explanation as to why he is closing his eyes. He just started doing this maybe about two weeks ago. He is still eating and seems to be doing fine. Just would like to know all the possibilities as to why a frog would have their eyes closed all day.

Humidity is getting low and to prevent the eyes from drying while he sleeps he will keep his eyes closed. They also do it if their in bright light while sleeping.

Most of the aquarium is covered with a long sheet of glass. The humidity is high and I mist everyday and I haven't done anything different since I've had him.

Are you also saying that he is or isn't hibernating?

He's not hibernating. Occasionally mine do this. If humidity is low or if its bright in the tank and the frog is sleeping with its head exposed. Its nothing to worry about.
