Hi everyone! I think the mystery is solved, I'm also thinking after following some of your leads that this little one is indeed green frog (Lithobates Clamitans Melanota). I think she/he is too skinny as well, but those photos are from the first day we found her. She is settling in and seems a lot more calm even though it's only been a few days. My dilemma is more about what to feed her now. I feed my tree frog crickets, wax, butter worms..but I no longer live in Toronto and the local pet stores here only carry small/medium crickets not pinhead crickets so I search out the tiniest ones I can. There are no stores locally (or in about a one hour range from me) that has flightless fruit flies. I'm sure there re some local amphibian owners who culture their own, but I don't know any. We don't have petco in Canada : ( Petsmart carries, crickets, (only s/m or large, wax, meal and super worms but that's all...Should I try online? But the whole USA/Canada thing is usually complicated with animals/plants etc. I'm not even sure if it would be kinder to let it go into one of my ponds this spring or if a green frog makes a suitable pet. My experience is limited to white's tree frogs and grey tree frogs. What do you think?
