I am wanting to get 2 or 3 African clawed frogs to put in a 69 gallon tank (still need to set the tank up and cycle so thinking ahead).
I was hoping to buy the frogs from a local shop but I can't find any that stock them.
My question is are frogs bought online healthy? Does transportation weaken them?
And if not, could anyone in the UK recommend an online supplier?
Someone else was asking about this a couple of months ago. A place called The Fish Hut was recommended. Here is a link to the thread:

I found exotic-pets.co.uk they have alot there but they run out of stock quickly though
Thankyou. I did look for past threads but didn't see that one.
I'll keep fish hut in mind.
I was hoping to get different coloured frogs so I can tell them apart but it looks like I might have to get all albino.
I didn't even know clawed frogs existed until a few days ago. Was researching dwarf frogs for my kids 15 gallon and kept hearing warnings about not getting sold clawed frogs by mistake. Being curious I googled them and they look awesome.
awesome.
I will look at exotic pets too
Hi, I know this is a few weeks old but it was me that used the fish hut, he sells normal coloured ones, it was the only place I could find that sold them, pet shops and such only seem to stock albinos

It's looking likely I'll buy online. No shops in my area sell them. Though one said they could maybe order them in. But didn't get back to me.
My tank is cycled now. Just waiting for the silk plants to arrive from Ebay
:-) good luck, let me know how you get on :-) x
thanks. my plants didn't arrive in the end as the ebay shop messed up the order. will have to order elsewhere.
I've decided to wait till after xmas before getting the frogs as I'm planning on going away for a week or so. already have to ask someone to feed my 3 cats and adf's. got 5 platys in the tank for now keeping it cycled. (I moved them out of the adf's tank as they were steaing the frogs food ).
they might become clawedfrog food eventually!
