Default Which frog is right for me? (Also, I'm new!)

So, since this is the introduction area, here's my introduction...

The name is Kyle. I own a few geckos already, but looking to expand my hobby into the frog world - I've been fascinated with them ever since seeing my first red eyed tree frog! But I haven't ever seriously thought about owning one.

Now, since the red eyes are the only frogs I've ever "known"... I want your expertise on which frog I should start off with. I'd prefer that they be relatively inexpensive for upkeep and initial costs, not need a huge amount of space, look nice (totally subjective, I know), and perhaps - if any frog has this - awesome personalities. Any matches?

Welcome aboard. Frogs to consider personality wise would be fire-bellied toads (Bombina orientalis), gray treefrogs (Hyla versicolor), and White's treefrogs (Litoria caerulea). There are care articles here for the two treefrogs as well as for red-eyes, so check them out and see if any of them are something you can handle. There is a fire-bellied toad article coming soon.

Welcome aboard and totally agree with the frogs that Kurt listed. I would say they all seem to have fun personalities especially the fire-bellied toads. Whites tree frogs get pretty big though and end up needing a fair amount of space. And I cant say anything about Grays because I have no experience with the species. Also what geckos do you own?
