    Unhappy diy mister

    hey dose any one have good plans for a diy mister im kinda had it with the spray botols thanks in advance

    you can assemble one from parts you can buy at mistking, but a diy one i have yet to see. i have been working on one using automotive parts (new of course) but have yet to perfect it reliably enough to use it. otherwise, there are a few production misters that are pretty good and are coming into the "affordable" range. you can always go with a fogger made from a humidifier as well.

    i have the mistking "starter kit" i guess is what they call it. its a basic setup that can be upgraded. hopefully its in your price range. all said and done i paid $150 or so. amazingly easy to install and use. works very well, is quiet for the most part and zip drip is a must

    That's a good, reliable unit. I had the exoterra rs400 (got it for a steal) and it worked well until the timer electronics failed. Not a bad unit for the price. If i were going to buy a new system, i would piece together a mistking.

    I made one out of a humidifier, but the brand I got was faulty within the first month. I have to pay the company the shipping to replace it. I used Crane and it became a fire hazard after a month
