Well, I'd have to say probably when you have no extra time to care for any more or lack of funds. Otherwise you're doomed to a house full of herps .

I started with one retf, rescued 6, and also have 3 packs, 2 red-spotted newts, and a day gecko and I love them all . Now just have to consolidate some retf tanks.

And so the frog addiction is contagious and continues to spread between friends and members here . The only cure, my friend....more frogs .

Those frogs are pretty cool, the thought crossed my mind to get a few when I first saw them. Post some pictures when you get them.

And as far as how to stop getting frogs.. why would you wanna do such a thing? There is no stopping until your home is an actual giant terrarium and you coexist with the frogs... that or you're completely broke.

Just not sure where the line is between hobby and "visitors thinking you are going to wear their skin". Thankfully all my frogs and my bearded dragon are much easier to clean up after than my puppy. I clean up her leavings every day and it still smells like piss in the room I keep her in for some reason. Also, somehow, she clawed half through a wall (in my brand new rented house...) So I got her a cage and it's a good thing I am good with patching holes!
