    Hello my names Courtney I'm from Humble, Texas live here with the wife and the critters I just now found this site looking for non hateful site to ask questions about Mr. Frog my Cane Toad. Hes currently the only Amphibian I have right now. but hes enough

    Thanks for the Welcomes hmm thats a good question,I'm not entirely sure how old he is. he isn't full grown though I know that much. so if I knew approximately how long it took a Cane Toad to reach full size that could help. but not knowing the growth rate I'll venture a guess of under 1 year maybe. but hes got health issues(severe weight loss) although he does seem to be responding to treatment though..........treatment presently consists of opening his mouth and feeding him finely cut up hot dog wiener that I squish between my fingers before putting it in his mouth.

    in my other post in the toads section I pointed out that while in the hospital his under tank heater died on him and my mother who lives here with me and my wife dropped the temp below 65 degrees F probly between 55-60F and he quite eating altogether now I'm trying to get his weight back up,although as has been suggested I'll see if theres any competant vets around here
