Cedar smell and Whites Tree frogs

I am having a really hard time keeping the humidity in my quarantine tank up. They hopefully only have 15 more days in quarantine. I came up with a possible solution but not sure if it will harm them. My boyfriend smokes cigars and he has this device called a cigar oasis. Basically it is just a plastic container with a fan that you put in your humidor to keep your cigars humid. You put the water in the bottom part and it has a digital display where you can program your desired humidity and the fan turns off an on as needed. My concern is that it has an earthy/cedar smell to it. There is no actual cedar in it. I am currently disinfecting it as I type but if I can't get the smell out, will it harm the frogs? Like I said there is no actual wood or anything in it for them to ingest.

I'm not sure honestly I know cedar is toxic and I would think any artificial smells would be too

Thanks Tyler. I decided not to use it. I'm just going to put a moist towel over part of the top.

I've tried to use a moist paper towel for humidity and never had any luck. What I ended up doing was covering half the top in plastic wrap. That keeps my humidity around 60% during the day and 70-80% at night. I also try not to let the substrate get too dry, which helps a ton. Oh and it's probably helpful to note that I only have a 10 gallon tank right now so I know what you mean about struggling with humidity!

I'll try the Saran Wrap. Right now I have a towel over part of the top and the humidity is a little better.

I used to get annoyed at my boyfriend with his cigar collection. He always had to keep it at a certain humidity. Now I understand his pain LOL!
