Default Please help me help my frog

So I've had an ACF froglet in a 10 gallon tank at my house for about 2.5 weeks now. Other-frog aggression in the large tank where she lived prior to here made it unsafe for her to stay in that tank, so I volunteered to bring her home (I had an spare tank) till she was big enough to return to her original home.

I filled the tank with well water (treated it with Stress Coat), and let the tank sit for a week, running a waterfall filter with the old biowheel. I also added Tetra Safe Start, because it was a time-critical situation and I thought that would prevent her from going through a nitrogen cycle in the tank.

After that week, I swapped out the waterfall filter for a Fluval underwater filter to try to minimize noise and water movement.

Long story short - I'm worried that my tank numbers are not good (I bought an API test kit), and I am not sure what to do. I've read a lot online and talked to people at pet stores, but I really need to know specifically what I need to do to keep our froggy safe and happy so she can grow. We love her already, and I'm really worried I'm messing up in general. I've read and read online, and am still confused.

    Here is the tank info:

10 gallon tank, 1 frog and nothing else
Ammonia: 0.5 or 1.0 (color wasn't an exact match with either, it seemed)
    PH: 7.6
    Nitrates/Nitrite: 10

She wouldn't eat the Reptomin I bought her (she'd been eating fish flakes in her old tank, which I understand is not ideal), so I've given her thawed frozen blood worms. I was feeding once a day, maybe 7 or 8? worms, but when I saw the ammonia reading I thought maybe overfeeding is a problem?

I did a partial water change yesterday (about 25%), and the readings haven't changed.

Thank you so very much for any advice or info you can provide - I really want to do the right thing for this frog. She is so awesome.

    Thanks again!

It sounds like your tank is just starting it's cycle. Those products that claim to "help" the cycle are bogus. The money is better spent elsewhere. Your test kit will do either Nitrites or Nitrates, not both. Nitrites is the one that is bad news. You need to keep up the water changes and stop changing filters until things settle down. Every time you change the filter like you did you are starting over. I also would not be too concerned with water movement with these frogs. I have not found that it bother them one bit.

I forgot to add the frog will eventually eat the reptomin. They will not starve themselves to death. Make sure you remove whatever is uneaten after a couple of hours.

One thing worth mentioning but if you can find someone with another aquarium who could let you borrow some filter media that helps GREATLY. Make sure it's moist and not dried out though so the bacteria is still alive. I am rather impatient so I always kick start new aquariums with used media and it DOES work.

One thing I've noticed about these frogs is keeping them is not unlike keeping fish. In fact I use the same practices with my fish aquariums as I do with my clawed frogs.
