Elyse: White's tree frog and Dumpy's tree frog are the same thing. I would not mix Red eyed tree frogs with Clown tree frogs as they are from different orders and regions(Red eyed-Central America Clown-South America) and can pass on pathogens to each other even if they are captive breed. Also Red Eye's are bigger and would compete with the Clown's for food.

Welcome Shaawnhall. Yes definitely don't mix species. If you choose the Whites/Dumpy tree frog I will be sooo jealous. We cant get them here in NZ. Which ever frog you choose, you will have plenty of info/helpers on this forum. Happy shopping.

I think you mean genera and subfamily. Clown treefrogs are of the genus Dendropsophus and red-eyes, Agalychnis. On top of that, the clown is of the subfamily Hylinae, the red-eye, Phyllomedusinae. There order would be Anura, tailless amphibians, AKA frogs & toads. Their suborder is Neobatrachia or advanced frog.
