I was wondering something about the blue phase wtf. I saw several wtfs at a store today (Petco). there were about 6 in the tank and 2 of them were considerably more blue/turquoise and the others were a nice green color. They were all young frogs, about 2" long. They were not labeled as blue phase, but is that what the blue-ish ones were? YOu could definitely tell a color difference, but I am not sure if it was just shade or if perhaps they were true blue phase. ideas?
Phases are such a load of garbage. Hahahah. Thats just me being cynical. The traditional "blue phase" are also known as Australian White's, as opposed to Indonesian whites. The blue coloration is not a special subspecies, its just a moniker that has been placed upon blueish treefrogs. So yeah, those may very well have been "blue phase."
