I have some extra hornworms here for sale that I need to get rid of.. I have way too many for my frogs to eat. I have never shipped them before and really have no idea how it's done, so I'd prefer not to. Right now the biggest ones are 1 1/2". They'll come with food. I'll give you more than what's paid for as I need to get rid of them. I just tried to raise some hornworms and succeeded and now I have WAY to many on my hands.
I'm thinking $20 for 50 worms roughly, ranging from small to 1 1/2" and a good amount of food. PM if interested. I'm located between ann arbor and jackson, MI.
Do you have any tips for breeding hornworms? I would really like to try my hand at breeding them, but I keep finding conflicting info about the difficulty. What are you keeping them in?
I really want some but that is a 4 hour drive for me.Do you still have any to sell?
I don't have any left for sale, sorry. You should check your local reptile shows.. you're in chicago, that's not too far from tinley park. I'd go there next saturday and look, I want to go there so bad but it's 215 miles and my truck chugs too much gas right now. ><
As far as raising them goes, here is a thread where I somewhat explain my methods. Check out my albums to get an idea of how I kept the worms. http://www.frogforum.net/food-feeder...gs-galore.html feel free to ask more questions if you want.
I am going on saturday...totally forgot about that. (my brain hasn't been working so well lately) Surely they will have some there do you think?
I think it'd be weird if they didn't have some there, tbh. There is always at least one person with the show here in Taylor, Mi. Then again, it's kind of close to great lake hornworms. Just keep an eye out for them when you go.. You could also try Silkworms, I've been wanting to get some of those, but I've only seen them for sale once and I wasn't interested then.. Good luck finding some, I don't think it'll be too hard. I might be raising some again here shortly, depending on how fast these pupae hatch. I imagine they're going to take a couple months since it's cold and there's less light.
