This is my first post and first vivarium (paludarium?) It will be for 3 or 4 Fire Belly Toads. It's a 20 long, with a little over 1/2 water and the rest land. I still have to add rocks to the water side, but wanted to see what you guys thought about the setup over all. The moss on top is in sheets; I plan to get some moss to grow in it's place that won't spread so much. Any tips for improvement or anything? Thanks! ![]()
Looks good for their first home. I say first because like all of us, you'll end up building a more elaborate enclosure soon enough.....lol my only suggestion would be to cover the transition from water to land with some moss to make it a little more natural looking. Maybe a larger rock stick out of the pond section to give them a little "island" to climb on to.
