Ok to start off with all my frogs are wild caught and id the 30 min day quarantines.
Ok so the possible issue... one off my frogs has been pooping in the water dish a lot since the new terrarium and larger water dish 2 weeks ago. and the poop looked lighter and obviously water logged. I thought it was from soaking all night and quickly change the water... no biggy I thought. But last night at bed time I saw poop on a leaf... also wet looking and lighter in colour. Almost a dark brownish green.
Dr Frye cant mail meds to canada and I cant find a Frog vet that is close. Is this fecal parasites? How do I know which frog it is.. I have 3 in there and my only quarantine tank is being used by Pippin. his poop is fine...
Do honey baths help with this at all? Do pet stores sell anything I can use?
Can parasites clear up on there own?
Can I used treated (reptisafe) tap water that uses a water softner?
Oh all frogs are eating great and active and I think pooping... atleast one is pooping normally as I do see the firmer really dark droppings too.
Hmmmm.... My grey's sometimes have funny looking poo's also. I just figured it was normal. I will be watching this thread closely to see what others have to say about it.
The Petsmart Lady said she has lots of frogs and depending on what I am feeding the crickets can make there poop sometime change colour and that they recently changed the cricket food so I don't know... I have been getting crickets from Reptile wrangler lately rather than Pets mart so maybe that has something to do with it ... but still a lil worried.
Do you see any worms or anything moving in the feces?

Not until the white springtails get to it lol
One of my greys (the one who died in January) once had a runny, icky green diarrhea like poop. I never really thought much of it. Every so often people eat something that doesn't sit right with us, so, I figured "Heck, spoiled cricket." He was fine after that, all of his movements were normal until his death 4 years later.
Is this a one time issue or has it happened many times before?
I have a frog. She's fat and green. Her name is Gertrude, because she is fat and green.
Glad there's no worms in it, lol!

I'm not seeing anymore poop like that so either it has stopped or the springtails are devouring it in the night or the poop is hiding...
