searched the whole house so many times and set out water buckets and stuff and still no frog

Just leave the water dishes out all over... make sure they are easy to get into ... does your female respond to male calls? Maybe try playing a male call to draw her out if so....

Can it get into any vents? check around, under and in bathroom and laundry appliances... and sinks.

Many years ago, one of my four fire belly newts (newts, not toads) escaped from its aquarium. Its whereabouts remained a mystery until one day several years later when we were in the process of replacing the refrigerator in the kitchen. Lo and behold, we discovered its dry remains underneath it. Had we not replaced the refrigerator when we did, we might not have ever discovered what happened to it.

More recently, I owned a fire belly toad with a penchant for escaping. Since her vivarium was located in the basement, I was able to locate her in the same exact place every time she went missing: the sump pump.

It seems like the first thing a displaced amphibian will do is locate a source of water or moisture.

Hopefully your fire belly toad isn't trapped somewhere they can't escape from without help (like mine was in the sump pump). If I were you, I would keep making water dishes accessible on a daily basis while searching through things or rooms that contain water or moisture. Consider refrigerators, sinks, bath tubs, dehumidifiers, toilets, laundry rooms, and sump pumps.
