Ok I have no idea what type of frog/toad/tree frog you are talking about since you lacked that in your post :/ remember whaen posting provide all possible details every time don't assume all members know what species you keep.
Best answer I can give with almost no details is Put out water dishes... if she feels to dry she will try and find water
nvm I see this is posted in fire belly toads... and I know nothing about them =( BUT ... I think I have read the love water... SO I still say water dishes XD
I agree, thats your best option
They travel quite quickly so I would look for things such as dust bunnies pulled out of unusual areas, behind cabinets and as anywhere there may be moisture. Get plenty of dishes out around the house.
1.0.0 Red Eyed Leaf/ Frog - Agalychnis callidryas
1.1.1 Bumblebee Dart Frog - Dendrobates leucomelas
1.1.0 Dendrobates truncatus - Yellow Striped
1.1.1 Dendrobates tinctorius – Bakhuis Mountain
1.1.0 - Dendrobates tinctorius - Powder Blue
1.1.0 - Ranitomeya vanzolinii
searched the whole house so many times and set out water buckets and stuff and still no frog![]()
Just leave the water dishes out all over... make sure they are easy to get into ... does your female respond to male calls? Maybe try playing a male call to draw her out if so....
Can it get into any vents? check around, under and in bathroom and laundry appliances... and sinks.
