I only put a tiny spoon tip in and it seems to always work. I never put in a set amount. Don't leave him in for longer than 20 minutes though and make sure he can stand comfortably without the water going too high up. White's aren't the best swimmers so you don't want to risk him drowning.

im just curious what you think would of caused impaction if hes using paper towels..
