they come in on there own they are very helpful and help keep the enclosure clean. and the mites are not snake mites so i would worry about it and snake mites are harmless to amphibians any ways

Did you bring in any items from outside for your terrarium? I had to buy springtails but I don't have anything that might have brought in the springtails or mites on its own in my terrarium. Try and take picks for us. I don't think you can see parasites that are in the feces without a microscope. (could be wrong)
