any idea on how to get rid of rust on exo terra screen top? I got a tank with spots on a screen top here and there and it would be nice clean it somehow with something that is frog safe.

I have noticed that bleach soaks work well with taking off rust. just make sure you rinse it off well
how exactly you are doing it? removing top and wiping it with bleach or actually putting the whole thing in the solution?
i goggled and found this How to Remove Rust Stains from a Metal Door Screen | DoItYourself.com

once its exposed to atmosphere its just going to rust again. you dont have to, but if it was me i would replace it
im really not sure, you may be able to call exo terra customer support and they may be able to steer you towards a retailed or even replace it out of courtesy. if the screen top is removable, most hardware stores will re screen windows so they may do your screen top
thank you, that is a great idea, will call them tomorrow

the only true way to remove rust is to bead blast it. but i'm guessing you probably don't have access to that sort of equipment. some autobody repair shops can do it, if you weren't in canada, i would have gotten it done for ya no problem.
