Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
dang...still have my fingers crossed then...hope i hear the deep bellowing croak soon then
I realize this post is fairly old...I have the same question. Habeeb, does it sound lower now? Mine is 3" or so, and a few times now it makes quacking croak sounds under the substrate. Not deep at all. Bruce and Heather have told me it most likely is a juvie croak. Anyone else care to chime in? The times we (me and my gf) have witnessed these sounds, were early in the morning and once in the day when we were both quiet on our comps.
Many frogs when they first start calling are like a teenage boy going through puberty. Kind of like when their voice is changing. When they're learning it will sound odd at first and eventually they catch on and it begins to sound as it is supposed too. It is funny to hear them go through this transision.
