Starter size?

Does anyone have any advice on a good starter size for my RETFs? We are getting two and it is my first. Is their a big difference in care between a 3/4"-1" baby versus a 1"-1 1/2" small one? Would like as young as possible but I also want them to do well. Thanks

One factor to consider is, can you get the really small crickets that babies need? Not every supply store sells the really little ones.
