Recently ordered 1000 nymph dubias for my collection of non-exotic frogs (should be here tomorrow), but just picked up a young bearded dragon and his hunger has awoken! This 1000 will not last long! I absolutely despise the amount of work required to feed crickets (either move X animal to Y feeding area or scoop out uneaten crickets, which can be a huge pain). I got some adults from the pet store and originally planned on a cricket colony (they deposited into the soil I provided immediately), but after a few days I noticed a LARGE number of tiny white worms (not crickets). Hadn't seen any flying critters near the breeding area, so I dumped the mess into the treeline half a block from my house. I am in the southern Illinois area but would pay to arrange shipping.
I'm hunting online for some decent quantity of adult breeding pairs to create a sustainable colony of dubia, but for the time being I am going to need a lot of young roaches.
