My two biggest pacman frogs:
My biggest ornate, now at around 4" SV length I'm guessing (certainly 3.5 - 4", closer to 4" I think but didn't measure with a ruler) -- note this one may be a bit puffed up, she/he always puffs up when I handle it.
My "green apple", now at least 3" long and maybe more
No obvious nuptial pads. Any guesses at gender on either one?
Take a pic of the top of the closest thumb to their body. Clear pic and I can let you know what they are.
The Apple is either still too young or female. I can clearly see the thumb of its right hand in the second pic. No nuptial pad. Can't see the Ornate's thumbs.
This is what you're looking for. See the dark spot that looks like a mole on the thumb? Now compare it to the next photo of a female's front foot......see how there is NO mark?

It gets easier when you know what to look for.
Dude your 2 frog looks almost the same as mine no joke cept mine are smaller and your green apple is yellow mine is green

Timmy, you have a green Cranwelli not a green apple.
I will try to get a clear picture of the top of the thumbs. I didn't see any obvious nuptial pads or darkening.
I've had them for 3 months now. I got the apple when it was about 1 1/2 inches long, the ornate was about 2 inches long if not a little bigger. This would make them at least 4 - 5 months old I'd think. Both have had their greatest growth period in the last few weeks (since I've started feeding worms versus crickets).
i said almost look alike hahaha i know its a green cranwelli and the other one is an ornate doesnt it tho the brown spot and the 3 line of mine green and his limeish yellow lol
This is the best I could do without help for tonight -- there is a roundish area / bump on the thumb (left side of pic), but it is not dark yet. Male?

It might be a male. They do have lighter/ non colored nuptial pads when they aren't in breeding mode.

I got another look at my ornate's and my apple's thumbs -- ornate has nothing that even looks like a bump; my apple may have a tiny non-colored bump -- ornate is 3.75 - 4" long, apple is around 3.25" long. What is the clearest is my green cranwelli above -- definite bump but no color.
