I have been dealing with my sick whites tree frog for the past few weeks. I took out the coconut fiber substrate and have been using white paper towels. The last few feedings he has lunged so hard at the crickets, he ends up choking on the paper towel and I have to grab him and pull it out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to avoid this?
Don't let him hunt for the food... try either hand or tong feed the crickets to him or put crickets in a glass bowl wide enough for your frog to climb in and out of. Crickets cannot climb out of a clean, dry, GLASS bowl. Search glass bowl trick on here and you might find other posts about it. This trick was amazing till I started tong feeding my frogs all separately to make sure they all ate equal amounts of crickets. But if I still only had one frog I would still be using the glass bowl.

Rae,
Thank you so much! That is a great idea! I will try it out today!
